Houmas House multi horizontal pack of 50. Back reads–Historic Houmas House. River Road, Burnside, Louisiana. This magnificient Greek revival plantation was built by Colonel John Smith Preston, on land originally inhabited by the Houmas Indians. Mrs. Preston was the daughter of Genenral Wade Hampton. Dr. and Mrs. Crozat acquired the property in 1940, and have restored it to its original splendor.
