Oal Alley Plantation

Oak Alley Plantation horizontal pack of 50. Back reads–Oak Alley Plantation, Vacherie, Louisiana was built in 1837-39, and is a fine example of Greek Revival architecture, but is especially known for its alley of 28 evenly spaced live oaks, thought to be at least 100 years older than the big house. A slave on the plantation during the 1840’s is credited with the creation of over 100 species of pecan trees.
